There are several celebrations we can participate in during Advent as we wait for Christmas to come.  The first, celebrated on Dec. 6th,  is the Feast of St. Nicholas who was the original Santa Claus. Then there is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrated on Dec. 8. Watch the videos below to learn more.

We celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th.  It is a Holy Day of Obligation, so be sure to go to church.  You can watch the video here to learn what this is all about. 

The 3rd Sunday of Advent is known as Gaudete Sunday and it is when we light the pink candle.
