Our Family of Faith program is on summer vacatin. We will begin again in September . This is a family centered program that offers sessions for both parents and kids. We will meet once a month for a session together and break into age appropriate groups. Then 2 other times of the month, kids will come together in age/grade centered classrooms to share what they have done at home. Then, once every other month, we will have a community service event. Family of Faith Registrations will be available in August as well as year round. We also have a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program for our 3 to 6 year old's and hope to expand to 6-9 yr. old's in the near future. Sacramental Preparation
for Penance and First Eucharist. The Archdiocese of Seattle has a 2 year preparation process for our children to prepare for the sacraments of penance and First Communion. Children age 7, are ready to begin this journey so, when your child is in the First grade, they should enroll in our Family of Faith program if they are not in a Catholic School . This begins their preparation process. In their 2nd grade year, they should enroll in Family of Faith and take part in our Family-At Home preparation for the Sacrament. Please call Jodie if you have any questions. |
